Imagine you're in an interview for a senior management position.
And it's going good.
And then they ask you:
"So... What makes you think you're an ideal fit for this leadership position?"
What do you say?
"Aaammm. Uhhhm. Well I have worked with XYZ corporation for 12 years and ABC for another 9. I have this talent and that talent. I have this experience and that experience. Ammm. Well. Hmmmm. I think I can do this work. Ammm. Ya. That's it."
If I was the person interviewing and I got an answer like this, I would do one of 2 things.
1. Vomit.
2. Snore.
Look, I don't want to be rude (even though I don't mind being that!), but I need to tell you the truth.
Truth is that you have 7 seconds to make a powerful first impression.
And 60 seconds to create what I call "Magnetic Influential Pitch."
Whether you have a job in IT or a business or you're in finances. you WILL have to have a pitch.
And guess what?
We recently spent 2 full hours with the members of THE BALANCED LIFE MASTERMIND.
I taught them HOW to pitch.
I taught them WHAT to say.
I taught them what NOT to say.
And then we did role play.
That's right.
Every person had individual practice session with me.
I would ask them:"So why should we give this position to you?"
And they would answer based on their situation.
And I would say: "This is boring, let's do it again."
And then they would do it again.
And I would say: "This is better. This time. start with _________."
Intense training.
And repetition.
And then role play with a world-class mentor.
THAT, my friend, is what you require.
